Under the Japanese Legacy umbrella, there have been two symposiums that have been held in Florence, Italy – the inaugural event in 2014 and the second gathering in 2016. Each of these two day events included an exclusive visit to the fabulous Stibbert Museum where attendees had the opportunity to handle items from the renowned Japanese Armor collection, and a curriculum with high level presentations about Japanese armor given by some of the top experts in the field.

With the success of these edition, the Japanese Armor Society then organized a European edition in 2018 and an American edition in 2019. We also had a delegation for the opening of the Berlin Samurai Museum in 2022, together with a visti at the Grassi Museum. Here you can see some photographs from such meetings.
